EXCITING NEWS

I am going to try and keep our blog updated as much as possible now. We have some really EXCITING NEWS!!!!! We are expecting, and due Dec. 27th. We had our 1st doctor's appointment today, and had a really great appointment. First, they did the sonogram. Baby McFarland's heartbeat is 167, which our doctor said is good and normal. It turns out that we are a month further along than we thought. We were thinking our little one would be due in January, but it looks like we are going to have a Christmas baby. :) We are just ecstatic! It is such a blessing! We look forward to keeping everyone updated.

Some are thinking we are having a girl, and some are thinking a boy. What do you think?

Update

Our blog is way overdue, and needs to be updated. I am so sorry, but I am horrible at keeping up with this blog. However, once we get a new camera which should be soon, I will update our blog more often. So check back for an update within the next couple of weeks.

MSU vs. LSU

A couple of weeks ago, we had a little get together at our place for the MSU vs. LSU football game. Also, our friends Ruby and Erwin came to visit us. Ruby thought she was just coming to hangout with me and scrapbook. Little did she know, Erwin was going to surprise her. Haha. Yes, we pulled it off without letting her find out he was coming into town. It was AWESOME! Here are some pictures from the event.

Scrapbooking

As many of you know, I have found something that I love to do in my spare time. I have been scrapbooking, and I have a lot of pictures that need a place other than just sitting in a box. Brian and I have made some awesome friends in Little Rock. The couple we met are Tasha and Matt. Tasha and I scrapbooked last week, while the guys went to a movie. It was so nice to do something we love, while the guys watched a movie they had been waiting to see. Here is the page Tasha helped me create. As many of you know, I am not creative at all! I was so pleased with how this scrapbook paged turned out. I really love this page! Tasha has a Cricket! I am sure many of you know what the Cricket is like. However, for those of you who are not familiar with the Cricket...I am going to refer to it as a MAJOR scrapbooking component. It is so helpful! It is absolutely amazing, and does most anything you tell it to do. The Cricket was able to cut out all of my letters, and it really helped me with my scrapbook page. On the Road Again...

I hope everyone is having a good week! I wanted to give you an update on what has been going on in our lives this week. On Monday, I was so excited to learn that I would be traveling to Jackson on Tuesday for business. This was a special treat, because I would get to see family and friends while I was in town. The trip went smoothly on the way to Jackson. However, I got really lost on the way back. I do not have any sense of direction, but apparently, neither does my navigational system. The good news? I made it back in one piece. LOL!

On Tuesday night, it was so nice to relax and have a home-cooked meal. Mom, it was delicious...thank you so much! It was so nice spending time with Mom and Dad since I don't get to see them often. They are supposed to come visit us before the end of the year, and I can't wait for them to make a trip up here to Razorback country. On Tuesday night after dinner, Char came over and it was so nice hanging out with her. We looked at both of our wedding pictures, and made a lot of progress on the second draft for my wedding album. Char, I could not have done it without you...thank you, thank you, thank you!

On Wednesday evening, I was able to spend time with my in-laws, Ashley, James, and my precious nephew, Brayden. We all went to PetSmart after everyone had dinner. That was a fun trip! I really enjoyed spending time with everyone. It was good visiting with y'all! After we went to PetSmart, Brayden invited me to come over to look at his two guitars. Brayden loves playing the guitar, and I believe he is our true rocker!
